You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including account details, upload content, and subtitle text you create or edit.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us promptly so we can help secure it.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis unless canceled before the next billing date.

Prices, plan limits, and included features may change over time. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes before they take effect.

By uploading media to EasyCaptions, you grant us and our service providers the rights needed to process the file, transcribe speech, generate subtitles, translate captions, and produce exports for you.

AI-generated outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed before publication or commercial use. You remain responsible for the final content you publish or distribute.

• Do not upload content that infringes someone else's rights or violates law.
• Do not attempt to probe, overload, or bypass service limits, security controls, or usage quotas.
• Do not use the service to distribute malware, spam, abusive content, or other harmful material.
• Do not reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but availability is not guaranteed. Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued as needed for maintenance, security, or product changes.

EasyCaptions and its underlying software, design, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of the service itself.

You retain rights to the content you upload and to the subtitle files or exports you create, subject to the licenses needed for us to process that content on your behalf.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or create legal or operational harm to the service.

You may stop using the service at any time and may close your account if applicable.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyCaptions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version here and revise the date above.
